About Ready Together FL
Ready Together FL makes safety skills fun, practical, and easy for families to learn together. Children and teens gain hands-on experience with first aid, CPR and AED awareness, choking response, fire safety, water safety, and emergency preparedness through real-life activities and simple scenarios. Our goal is to help kids feel capable, help parents feel confident, and make preparedness something the whole family can enjoy learning together.
Emergency Awareness
Recognizing emergencies, checking scene safety, and knowing when to get help.
Basic First Aid Awareness
Bleeding, burns, falls, heat illness, allergic reactions, and other common emergencies.
Water Safety
Pool, beach, canal, current, life-jacket, and drowning-prevention awareness.
Please note: This is water-safety awareness only and does not include swimming lessons, in-water rescue training, or lifeguard certification.
Fire Safety
Recognizing fire hazards, knowing when to evacuate, calling 911, and basic fire-extinguisher awareness using the PASS method.
911 Communication
Knowing when to call 911, what information to provide, and how to communicate clearly during an emergency.
Family Emergency Preparedness
Emergency plans, supplies, severe-weather awareness, and family communication.
CPR & AED Education
Hands-on CPR practice and AED awareness using American Heart Association Family & Friends® materials and training equipment.
Choking Response
Recognizing choking and learning age-appropriate emergency response skills.
Topics are taught through two focused class options—CPR, AED & Choking and Safety & Emergency Preparedness—or together as the Ready Together Complete program.

Jennifer created Ready Together FL after seeing firsthand how important it is for families and community members to know what to do in an emergency—and to have the confidence to act. She believes children are capable of learning practical safety and lifesaving skills that can strengthen families and communities. Ready Together FL is her way of continuing to serve by starting where change often begins: at home.
