Ready Together FL Classes
Flexible safety training for families and community groups
Recommended: Grades 3+
Parent/Guardian: Required to remain onsite for minor participants
Format: Small-group, hands-on instruction
CPR, AED & Choking
Approximately 75–90 minutes
Learn to recognize a cardiac emergency, call 911, perform CPR, use an AED, and respond to choking through guided instruction and hands-on practice.
Includes hands-on CPR practice with training manikins, AED awareness and guided use, choking response, emergency communication, and basic scene safety.
AHA Participation Certificate: Participants completing the applicable American Heart Association Family & Friends® CPR program may receive an official Certificate of Participation. This is not professional CPR certification or an AHA course-completion card.
Safety & Emergency Preparedness
Approximately 90–120 minutes
Build practical skills for recognizing hazards, responding safely to common emergencies, and preparing your family before an emergency happens.
Include basic first-aid awareness, 911 communication, fire safety, water safety, heat and severe-weather safety, emergency supplies, family emergency planning, and realistic scenarios.
Water Safety Notice: Water-safety instruction is classroom-based awareness only. It does not include swimming lessons, in-water rescue training, or lifeguard certification.
Ready Together Complete
Approximately 2½–3 hours, including a short break
Take both classes together for the complete Ready Together experience—combining hands-on CPR, AED and choking education with practical family safety and emergency preparedness.

Parent/Guardian Attendance Required
Ready Together FL is not a drop-off program. A parent or legal guardian must remain onsite with minor participants for the entire class. Supervising parents/guardians are not charged unless they are participating in the class. Anyone completing the hands-on instruction and receiving participant materials should be registered as a participant.
Step Up For Students
Ready Together FL is an approved Step Up For Students provider. Eligible scholarship students may use available scholarship funds for approved educational services.

Classes are offered at community facilities, churches, homeschool co-ops, youth organizations, after-school programs, partner venues, and approved host locations throughout Southwest Florida. Private group locations may also be arranged.
